This Thurs 25th Feb Is Last Ever Speech Therapy At The Guitar Bar!!! (Featuring our headline act Gary From Leeds)

Yes folks, it’s the end of an era. Rob, the proprietor of The Guitar Bar, Speech Therapy’s faithful patron, is moving on – and we will need to find a new venue. Which means that this Thursday’s Speech Therapy is the final one at Guitar Bar….

What a great five years it’s been! The night having been set up by our founder Mulletproof Poet (praise be upon him) back in 2011 – and consequently hosted by myself, and John Marriott, and the great stout troopers who’ve filled in when I’ve been unable to.

I really hope that every one who has enjoyed a night of Speech Therapy down at Bar Deux can make it this Thursday as we give the venue a right rollicking S.T. send off!

We are going to kick off the night at 8pm with something a little bit different – we have the premiere of a short piece of theatre by Face The Music And Dance, called ‘Gone Fishing.’ Check the details here

Then after that at 8.30 it shall be onto the poetry with The All Stars of the Open Mic – that means you! Bring a poem or two and sign your name down for a spot…

Featured poet on the night is a new name to Speech Therapy – Gary From Leeds – he’s a funny guy, check him out here:

And you never know… I may even knock out a goodbye Bar Deux poem or two meself….

And don’t forget, it’s ALL FREE!!!

Hope to see you Thursday guys! Love love love xx
